Only one public museum in the world, the KGB Espionage Museum, is focused uniquely on the espionage operations carried out by the KGB. As a visitor to our museum, you will gain a wide understanding of the secret activities and methods of an organisation that has had, and continues to have, such a far-reaching influence on world affairs. The museum exhibition, much of which is only now being made public, presents a never-before-seen collection of items covering the activities of prominent KGB agents and revealing the strategies and methods that underlay many of history’s top secret espionage operations.
The KGB Espionage Museum aims to present espionage and intelligence operations in an educational and interesting way, emphasising the importance of human intelligence and setting out a frame of reference for the public to appreciate the great extent to which spies have always influenced world events. The Museum has a policy of presenting the history of espionage without political bias, thus offering visitors a factual and balanced view of the subject.
